Beyblade

Beyblade is a simple but wacky character made for the Workshop Anime Jam! They trade off having ANY attacks or mobility options, and in turn can hit the opponent HARD if they get too close.

Spin-Time:
Beyblade's life is on a timer! At the start of a match, Beyblade is incredibly powerful and has decent mobility, but over time they get progressively weaker and less reliable to control. If the meter runs out, Beyblade stops spinning altogether, leaving them completely helpless until they die and respawn!
Spin-time depletes when dealing and taking damage, jumping, and using armor.

Bouncing:
Beyblade can bounce when holding down the Jump button. It takes a while to reach maximum jump height, but landing hits or falling off of platforms can get you to max height much quicker!
Bouncing only loses spin-time after a certain speed threshold, shown by dust particles when you land.

Armor:
By holding Crouch, Beyblade gains Super Armor, protection from projectiles, and an increase in ground friction! However, this depletes the spin-time meter VERY quickly, so use it sparingly!

Beyblade was made in about a week, and includes special alts, custom CSS, and Rune support!
