F-40 FSW/MTD Basilisk

The F-40 FSW/MTD, standing for "Forward Sweep Wing/Maneuverbility Tech Demonstrator", is a NASA tesbed for odd aerodynamic concepts, made by REHL. This was a one-off aircraft built specifically for NASA's testing requirements, based heavily off of the F-40 Basilisk platform. The gun remains inside the aircraft because of weight & balance, with the plane requiring the GAU-8 in it's position in order to maintain it's maneuverable properties.

Pros:
- High Top Speed
- TVC
- Hypermanuverable
- NVD
- Advanced ejection sequence with 100% survival rate
- Can easily destroy any target with the main gun
- Strong landing gear

Cons:
- Engines can easily be destroyed with single digit amounts of bullets fired
- VERY unstable without TVC enabled, it can and will cobra, even if you don't want it to. TVC is required to recover from a stall.

Action 7- Cockpit Jettison (Ejection)
Action 8- Couple Refueling Boom
Beacon- NVD
Disable Steering- Landing Gear
Invert Steering- TVC Toggle
