描述
This mod add an optional super boss: Mecha Sonic, from the game Sonic & Knuckles and also heavily based on the animation Super Mario Bros Z

UPDATE: there's a modpack containing all of my bosses now, check it here: https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3033270977

you can find it at Dark Room, The Chest and Corpse 2, after clearing each room you have a small chance to make a chaos emerald fall from above (don't worry, you can leave the room, once it appears it will be there until you want to start the fight), trying to pick it will spawn mecha sonic

this is a super hard boss and some of the attacks are very fast, be really prepared to fight it.

once you defeat mecha sonic, it will leave the four chaos emeralds that it has (each one give to you great stats) and also open a void portal to the void floor

once this boss is defeated you can't find it anymore for the rest of the run (even if you use the item R key).

As soon as I saw him do the raging Demon, me and my buddies all panicked and scattered. 10/10 would recommend.

when i defeated mecha sonic the chaos emeralds began multiplying when i picked one up, they just endlessly spawn again and again idk why :^)
maybe cuz im playing afterbirth+ and im certain none of my other mods affect this one

I wouldn't say the boss is easy, true. Some attacks are fairly easy to dodge but then there are kinds of attacks that you're just not able to dodge and will most likely lose half your health if you're not dead already, the rewards on the other hand are just too simple, it doesn't really feel rewarding and the R key feels like cheating.

boss becomes easy when you get used to it's attacks unlike some lategame bosses then it feels like ur cheating by killing mecha and getting all those stats my suggestion is making the boss harder while nerfing the rewards yea the fight takes long but its just too easy tbh compared to classic lategame bosses

Summary: As of now Mecha is just boring, you either proceed to fight him and lose cause no gamebreak or proceed to gamebreak kill him.
Or simply Plan C /w revive but it's dumb when going for marks, same goes for gnawed leaf & orbitals.

Add all 7 Chaos emeralds and give them real effects (normal items as in, tear effects and shit like that. If it wouldn't be a problem for you that is.) (and remake the 4 current ones)
It's kinda meh? How there aren't all 7 and yet there are 4.

Add mecha on every floor post dark room (There's no way to beat him before dark room and even then chances are VERY slight. Atleast if you'd be lucky enough to get void there's a SLIGHT chance you'd beat him with lucky drops & good build)
