描述

Most of L4D2 chainsaws I've seen in other weapon packs were dissapointing or broken, therefore I decided to make my own

Features:

- c_arms support
- Blood splatters while killing NPC's (can be disabled)
- Biped worldmodel (no more d!cksaws)

ConVars:

chainsaw_blood_on_user (enabled by default) | Adds blood decals on user when attacking NPC's
chainsaw_blood_effects (enabled by default) | Makes chainsaw emit blood splatters when enabled
chainsaw_screen_effects (disabled by default) | Adds screen effects on user while attacking NPC's (reccomended using side addons as Viewmodel Stains instead)

Located in "Other" tab in weapons category!

I actually think the opposite AlexDog. If this dealt way more damage then it wouldn't be fun. Because then I would be using this as a quick melee and not that different from the Crowbar or the stun baton. So the fact that I have to hold the chainsaw against an enemy seems more fun.

Sad that Half-Life 2/Garry's Mod doesn't have a stagger mechanic when enemies receive continuing damage like in games like Doom, Quake or Halo CE, as it would be fun to stunlock them while chainsawing them all lol

You've chosen to criticize my work specifically because it doesn't align with your preferences. If you prioritize high damage numbers above all else, you're welcome to find another chainsaw on the Workshop that suits that playstyle. Otherwise, I'm open to constructive feedback. Do not make assumptions about my ability simply because I chose balance over inflated stats - especially when no one else has raised this as an issue.

TL;DR: Don't like it? Use a different item. Want to improve it? Make constructive suggestions.

"Most of L4D2 chainsaws I've seen in other weapon packs were dissapointing or broken, therefore I decided to make my own" Ironically your L4D2 Chainsaw is yet another dissapointing chainsaw. All cause you can't or wont add a damage multiplier to the ConVars aka console commands.
