BRIEFING:

Our HQ building up in the north recently stopped replying to any of our communication attempts, we suspect that something bad happened there, you will be sent out to find out what’s going on and just in case someone besides rebels have taken refuge there…

WIPE THEM OUT



Welcome to my passion project! A linear story map with small bits of exploration. You play as a badass John, Last name classified and as clarified above, you're tasked with exploring a rebel base in the north, it is unknown what you will face down there, so stay cautious!


This map started as a proof that even i could do better map design than HDTF and overtime i learned a lot about map making. Keep in mind that the map's optimisation mid at best because of my inexperience, because of that, in the end, map took about 4-5 hours to compile. Don't fear the map size! It's like that because the textures are packed into the map itself, no content needed!


Rules:
No noclip, it can break the map.
Preferably no addons, some of them can either break the map or softlock you.

Thank you all for the reception! While yes the endind is very dissapointing it's like that because it's supposed to lead into part 2. Trust me, the ending i have planned is MUCH more epic than what we have now.

Maybe i will add a level change trigger after i am done with part 2

It was really good, it felt more like a normal half-life2 map, though the ending was a wee bit anticlimactic, very soild 9/10! also, Jade smells bad lol

I can't get past the part where you turn on the light revealing a bunch of zombies. i cant get through the vent because its too small, i was forced to use noclip
