The Cuzco Class scout vessel is perfect for a new captain to get their feet wet. Literally... thanks to the open ballast design. Two turrets were fitted on the craft to give adequate protection, supported with strong discharge coils in the back and the eye. Another set of turrets can be fitted for a lot of money, but is it really worth it? Maybe.

- Rear sections are protected with discharge coils.
- Nav terminal controls discharge coils, depth charges and the third one can be customized, wired out to a relay.
- Reactor controller lets you use multiple fuel rods, and you can disable your engineer from operating it.
- There is a button that toggles a signal that sends the remaining fuel % to the global chat, so you can see it while mining and cave diving. The frequency of the messages increases as the fuel gets lower.
- There is a searchlight system, with the periscope controlled at the small display of the nav terminal. Left click to switch cameras.
- Bottom hatch has a motion sensor that is calibrated for humans for quick entrance. It only checks a small area directly below the hatch, so if you bonk your head on it, the water rushing in will lift you up into the airlock.
- There is an external crate storage at the bottom hatch for looting.
- Moved the depth charge loader behind the o2 gen, so if you have a mod that lets you place objects, you have some space for that.

The turrets can be bought in the sub upgrade guy on the station, effectively doubling the output of the turrets. Due to how Barotrauma works (sometimes buggy), you might need to uninstall the turrets first, redock (or save and reload), then buy the turrets. They have to be the same type because of the loaders, so the top two should be the same, and the bottom two should be the same. Then they will be controlled by the periscope normally. If you assign an AI bot, then just pick one of the two turrets at the same spot, and they will operate it normally - just shoot twice as much, consuming more ammo and power, but killing things a lot faster.

i love this sub but could perhaps explain how the turrent situation works?? hahaha i oculd just be really dumb and im playing single player so i dont have a co-captain to slap me upside the head lol
