thank you for your feedback! I'm sorry to hear that the art section has spoiled your experience.
However, you appear to be under a misapprehension concerning the meaning of "no external knowledge required". It means that they are all solvable without you needing to look up any additional information that is not provided within the room.
Admittedly, some of the puzzles in the art section are quite hard, but I can assure you they can be solved without external knowledge and have been solved successfully by many players.
BTW: No section was created by a single creator (although I took the lead on the art section, so I'm the guy you most want to blame). If you want to know who made a specific puzzle, you can look at the note next to it.
