The mod makes a number of small changes in the toolbar, to make finding the right item that little bit easier.

  • Removes all Content Creator Pack tabs, their contents moved to the most relevant tab. This means:
    • No more lone-item tabs (looking at you, wave power plant).
    • You can now access all your transportation hubs in a single tab, instead of two. All your police buildings in a single tab, instead of two. All your [insert whatever other item was added in a CCP] in a single tab, instead of two.
  • Revamps the Parks and Plazas group.
    • Parks, plazas and other objects are now correctly assigned to the category which best represents what they actually are. Parks (those with trees) are under Parks, plazas (large paved spaces) are under Plazas, sports facilities are under Sports Grounds (new tab), piers etc. under Water Structures (new tab) and anything else is under Tourism & Leisure.
    • Car parks are moved to Roads > Road maintenance.
    • Parks, plazas and sports grounds are sorted within their respective tabs by area, from smallest to largest.
    • Moved all props that were sprinkled across several tabs into the single Props tab.
  • Revamps the Unique buildings group.
    • Disposes of all of the "by unlock tier" tabs, and some of the less meaningful DLC tabs.
    • The Landmarks tab now contains genuine landmarks (think Eiffel Tower, rather than a cinema), and other historic-looking buildings.
    • All other unique buildings are grouped by what they are as either: Tourism & Leisure, Sports Grounds, Hotels, Retail Buildings, Office and High-Rise Buildings, Parks, Plazas (yes, you can now find all your unique plazas in one place!) and Waterside Structures.
  • All buildings in the Healthcare, Police Department, Fire Department and Education tabs are now sorted by their type (e.g. all elementary schools > all high schools > all universities > all libraries).
  • Revamps the Trees tab.
    • All trees now listed in a single tab. Removes the Content Creator Pack Trees tab.
    • All trees are sorted by height, from shortest to tallest.
    • Hidden vanilla trees (e.g. apple trees) are also listed.
  • Moves rock assets from the Parks and Plazas > Props tab to Landscaping > Rocks, where all the other rocks are.

While the mod is designed to work with all DLCs, I don't have access to some of them, so can't test them. If you notice any issues (misplaced or missing buildings) with any of these DLCs: Airports, Financial Districts, Heart of Korea, Skyscrapers, Africa in Miniature, Railroads of Japan, do let me know!

How to use
Subscribe to this mod and enable it in the Content Manager.

You also need to be subscribed to Harmony 2.x, a utility which facilitates mod creation.

Thanks for a great useful mod :)

A few suggestions for improvement, because not all content creators classify their assets properly:

1. Any Park with "parking" in its name should be moved to "Roads > Road maintenance"
2. Any Park with "basketball"/"football"/"tennis"/"soccer"/"volleyball" in its name should be moved to "Parks and Plazas > Sports Grounds"
3. Any Unique building with "Hotel"/"Resort"/"Motel" in its name should be moved to "Unique buildings > Hotels" or "Parks and Plazas > Tourism & Leisure"
4. Any Unique building with "Concert"/"Museum"/"Opera" in its name should be moved to "Unique buildings > Tourism & Leisure"
5. Any Unique building with "Stadium" in its name should be moved to "Unique buildings > Sports Grounds"

Suuper helpful. The part toolbar has always annoyed me, but even for all the others this was a mayor improvement. I honesly found assets, I must have had for some time, but were buried in some oscure tab.
As far as I checked all assets apear ( africa buildings too, as this was asked before)
