"It may be blackmail, but at least it's fun blackmail!"

Don't do anything you might regret! Join Katana in this small 3 level campaign as she gets a glimpse into the life of a mass murdering hitman, whether she likes it or not.

Catana is a campaign that's a smaller-scale side project I felt like making. I wanted to be able to do more in future Hotline Miami projects, so I made this as a way to familiarize myself with Notepad++ and the cutscene maker. I still had plenty of help from friends to help me produce this.

@Stick I'm glad you enjoyed the campaign and you liked the levels too! I would personally go back and change some of the dialogue because I agree it feels a little stunted at the start.

Also I removed the sons roll for those two levels because rolling into the dialogue sections would break the cutscene, unfortunately. I really wanted to keep the roll for all levels but alas, the son is very finicky in the editor.

Personally, I would wished for a more pushy Cassandra + a more pinched eyebrow Katana, mixed with that "cat" aesthetic in there somehow. Something like...
"You... used Luna as bait for me to kill a whole bunch of Russians!?"
"Why yes, even had it on tape! I know I'd do all that for a kitten like you."
"Do not call me that."
or...
"I just thought... We got off the wrong foot, and I think I should repay the favor of saving a stray cat like me back there"
"Did you get rid of that footage of me?"
"O-oh, yeah, of course"
"Then you don't need to. Now leave."
"Come on, don't you think a girl like me at least deserves a friend or two?"

Evil... EVIL being you are... Taking away The Son's roll ability in Break and Gemini... I know they're most likely accidents because of some sort of trickery using The Son's dual guns ability. I have a thing for using only the weapons characters are "designated" to. The dialogue feels weird at the start, even if it's introductionary... (These are my nitpicks)

Nitpicking aside, loved the maps here, they flow nicely. Favourite part is Glass' I think Floor 2 or 3 where you can pull two shotgun patrols and you get a "faux-Natsukashi Floor 2 at the start where you could weave back and forth between two hallways. (Refer to "Shibuya by Plank) , some difficulty but that's because I'm a hardheaded idiot who likes to push through *into* the enemies while dodge-rolling when they have SMGs. This is going into my rotation of maps I would play because I like that one specific thing about it, alongside Hunter's Headshot and Assets and TKC's Coup D'Etat
