This has always been one of the most disturbing moments of Undertale for me, and one of the big examples of how capable Toby Fox is of very *Chilling* scenes, the trio of this, Undyne's Neutral Death (criminally underrated) and the Watch scene (in Deltarune) are probably the 3 most powerfully disturbing scenes in the series, funny how both Pacifist and Neutral have content in them leagues more disturbing than the No Mercy / Merciless Route (that's the real name, not Genocide), also I might make a similar paper for the Undyne Death sometime.

Anyway yeah, I feel so bad for Snowdrake's Mother, out of all the Amalgamates she got the worst deal. I'll never really forgive Alphys (At least not Undertale's version of her), the game lets her off too easy, in a sense she commited an atorcity far worse than Asgore or even Flowey, I could forgive her if she onlyaccidentally made the Amalgamates abominations in eternal pain and then tried to make things easier for them, but instead she kept them locked in her basement away from their grieving families barely even giving them attention or comfort, all because she didn't want to take responsiblity for her actions. Depresion is no excuse for that (coming from someone who had it for half my life), and the game doesn't really treat her being that much "in the wrong" (my only major issue with the game)

Anyway yeah, Snowdrake is a far more important character than most people in the fandom realize, despite not having much screentime he has a whole lot of unique aspects, There's only a single Snowdrake that gets replaced by Chilldrake if you kill him, there's the "That Comedian..." line required for the Merciless route (no, that line isn't about Sans), you can learn about his family drama and his fatha, his Mother is an Amalgamate, and he's one of the classmates in Deltarune (which we still need to see where that leads). People really underestimate his importance.
