A 5.7mm handgun available for purchase from The Merchant in Resident Evil 4 Remake, is the FN Five-seveN FDE, known as the "Punisher" in-game.
The Five-seveN comes in a Flat Dark Earth (FDE) two-tone finish by default, and can be fitted with a laser aiming module.

The rise in body armour use saw increased development in new weapon systems to combat these changes. The Five-seveN is FN Herstal's answer to NATO's request for personal defense weapon systems that has the ability to penetrate body armours. Chambered for the armour piercing 5.7x28mm cartridge, it was introduced alongside the FN P90 and mostly marketed for government and military use.
