Grow Hydro Crystals

Have there been any issues with this mod since the Saltu region update allowed Energy Crystals to be grown in Hydroponics bays?

FWIW, when I send an explorer out with natural curiosity, they will often unlock the crystal plant that i can then plant in farm fields.

Thanks, i see the problem. Its a missing option in the editor, the drop down menu in the Plant provides "field research" only, and this is not posible because custom plants dont grow random on the map. Modifide Vanila plants can be shown but its imposible to make this researcheabel. We can try to find a workaround with the Lua but DEVs shold add this to the Editor UI

@Impaler you added your plants to the regular vanilla groups, that why they can grow on hydrophonic rack, but you didn't make a farmfield for them so they can only grow on the rack, but since plants don't have a prequisite or lock you can't actualy research them, so the only way to research them is making a farmfield building for each and that where if you do like me and make a new subgroup they no longer can grow on the rack, if add to the vanilla subgroups they can still grown on the rack, but since your plants are exact same as original vanilla plant it silly to make a farmfield for them.

Well what you miss is the farmfield, research can only unlock farmfields, you can try create a fieldresearch but so far i didn't manage that, my plants all have a farmfield building to grow it and research to unlock it.

That is correct aslong they are in the regular vanilla tabs, but my recipe mod uses custom tabs so the trees and plants don't overflow the vanilla tabs out of the screen. And i got one plant there with 100 Hydro growth but it not appear on the rack. So it definatly connected to the vanilla tabs.

I found out why, seems only those plants in the regular vanilla tabs can be added to the hydroponic rack, but my custom plants are all in their own special tab, though when checked the rack self it doesn't say anything on which tabs it use to grow plants from.
