M-49 Mk2

The M-49 Mk2 is a small grid Ion thruster asteroid miner intended for space only. This is the miner I use with the M.A.V. in my current survival game. I tried to loosely match the look of the M.A.V. when I was creating it. I pushed the limit a bit on drill spacing but so far, it’s worked fine for me. I typically Right click/bore to the ore rather than squeeze it through the narrow hole made by drilling. The M-49 is set up with the PAM script that I use primarily for auto docking and damage info. I haven’t tried auto mining with it yet. I also put in the needed blocks for auto docking with the new AI (I think). There’s plenty of space behind the cockpit and in front of the forward battery to add more if needed. Nothing ground breaking here, I think this is a relatively standard small mining ship.

- 1 Autocannon turret to assist with bravely running away

- 2 connecters, top and bottom

- 8 ejectors (small connectors), with sorters set to whitelist stone

There's a Camera looking at an LCD screen inside the ship. This was intended to allow for using this miner remotely with the PAM script, I decided to leave it blank to provide options.
