OctaHab 2

OctaHab Model 2 is an intermediate-sized planetary (or moon) habitat with advanced processing and production capabilities, 2 sealed hangars with 3x4 openings for small ships, and living spaces for 16 players and cryo chambers for 8 players. Power for OctaHab Model 2 is supplied by four small reactors, with three batteries for backup power. The habitat is accessible via an airlock at ground level. OctaHab Model 2 is unarmed, but does include a decoy pod on top. No mods are used.

Ore, ice, and part processing and production are provided by 8 advanced refineries, all upgraded with yield modules, 4 advanced assemblers, all upgraded with speed modules, and 4 O2/H2 generators. Ore, ice, and parts are stored in 2 large cargo containers and 1 small cargo container; hydrogen gas is stored in 1 large hydrogen tank, and oxygen gas is stored in 1 oxygen tank.

This blueprint includes an antenna subgrid, but is easily built in survival.
1. Find a reasonably large, flat area.
2. Build a battery that is embedded into ground level. (See the second-to-last picture.)
3. Build a projector on top of the battery; the projector's front (vertical line) will be oriented "north"; the ground-level airlock is "south".
4. Load the blueprint into the projector; set the projector to "Keep Projection".
5. Build the blueprint.
1. Install an antenna dish to the hinge that is located on top of the habitat.
2. From the control menu, rename the antenna to "Level 7 - Dish Antenna" and add "OctaHab 2" to the HUD Text to display the habitat's name.
