Ping Banners

描述
Adds the ability to ping a location! This mod was created from a feature within the ReForged mod. If you would like more features added, then comment below or in the Suggestions thread.

Settings
Client
  • Ping Transparency: Control how transparent pings are. Default is 100.
  • Ping Keybind: choose the key that will ping. Default is 'R'.
  • Ping Control: choose the control that will ping (Controllers). Default is CONTROL_MENU_MISC_3 or Left Thumbstick if the default controller settings are used.
Server
  • Use Player Colour: The color of a ping will match the players color (from the userdata) who summoned the ping. Default is false.

Leonardo Coxington - allowed the use of his assets from ReForged to be used in this mod.
Gloomy - requested the ping feature from ReForged to be ported to its own mod.

While i palying reforged, I thought it would be really comfortable if this Rping was in survival mode. Thank you for create the mode:steamthumbsup:

@Friendly could you dm me your server/client log through discord or steam? If you need help doing so, then you can dm me and we can figure it out. Just tested my servers and a friends server and it works just fine, so need more info to help with your server.

Server won't even start. I tried clean server (new install), local host, etc.

@unseelie King I can help test if needed. I just tried a quick client hosted world and it worked perfectly. 'R' is the default config, but you can change it to whatever key you want. Have you tried others connecting and testing it?

Just tried making a new server with only this mod installed. Still does not work. Maybe I'm doing it wrong? I'm just pressing R and nothing happens

@GlassArrow I actually made a new server and activated the mod in 3 different instances (I was testing this and some other mods at the time) and everything worked fine, except for this one. I tried to assign different hotkeys and nothing changed. I'm puzzled because this seems like a very useful mod.

@Unseelie King it shouldn't conflict with any mod. It uses its own RPC and prefab, no overrides. The only thing I can think of is that the server did not have the mod?
