TLDR, Gov. Program studies alien artifacts that use magic symbols that act as a physical "computer code" which can dictate the properties of an alien "holographic" substrate that they're written on. My favorite part is how the pieces of the craft are supposed to be held together by nothing but an anti-gravity field generator.
