The AM-17 was a new firearm intended to replace the aging AKS-74U in the Russian Armed Forces. It is currently being evaluated by the Russian military for it's implementation.

And looking at all those pictures of rusted AK's and Mosin's being used on the Russian frontlines, I'm going to harbour a guess the evaluation didn't go well. How do you say "Oops" in Cryllic? Can it be painted on the Tanks?

This was Empty's AM-17 MK2. It replaces the CSS MP5 on his animations. I modified it with small adjustments to the origin, improved blending (I had to re-write the qc and rebuild the whole skeleton with the same scripts I made for the TLS view models just to make the idle & run blend with the reload animation; this gun now has Official Valve Update DNA in it), adding bones to the world model and adding a hud icon.
