Adds a new sector to the highway below Argon Prime, breaks the gate connection between Argon Prime and Second Contact, connects too Argon Prime and Second Contact featuring a highway connection

I originally put not save game compatible but apparently it is, just shouldn't be removed mid-save, the sector will just be unclaimed and not have any stations in it

Compatible with all mods as long as they don't place a sector in the same place or touch the same gates

Gives Argon full control of the sector on a new save, fully adds defense station alongside additional production modules to help it become an industrial hub, including advanced electronics/hull parts which are usually in high demand If you want economy modules included then use this mod

This is also just a reskin of another sector

Before the gate shutdown, this was a paranid sector of religous importance, after the gates came back online and with the proximity too Argon Prime, the Argon claimed the system much too the dismay of the Paranid, the claim on Icon has remained a strain between these empires. Icon has become an Industrial Hub, even though it lacks natural resources, it relies soley on imports from the highway system. - Encyclopedia Entry

Design Philosophy

This sector sports zero natural resources but has become somewhat of an industrial hub relying heavily on imports of raw/intermediary goods, this sector is also primed to become a frontline if Second Contact happens to fall in the ongoing Paranid War

@Forgotten this has zero dependencies and doesnt require boron DLC, and if I require any DLC its bc im borrowing assets from that particular DLC (IE: Ralston's Assets are from the Boron DLC)

You should make these sectors for people who do not have the boron DLC too you know

Going by the interview with Bernd, as he said no more DLC, but there will be continued patching and possible very minor content additions. As he said its now time to concentrate on fixing the issues people mainly comment on, being AI, UI etc, which I think is now paramount to get tweaked, fixed or streamlined now the game is complete (Bernds words).

Of course we got that pseudo co-op ventures coming, which some like and some dont, outside of that I dont see anymore real content coming for X4 since as above Egosoft have said DLC's are now done.

But it would be great to see them change their mind and continue content on a DLC scale.

@Mr.Freud Yeah as of right now just loading this in on a new game, it will be unclaimed with zero stations, I have a mod in progress that will just integrate the starting economies/assigned vanilla production to spread it all out, it works fine for me in a personal overhaul but breaking it down into smaller modules was giving me some weird issues with station spawn/placements, adding in stations for each sector is just a temporary band-aid til I get that ironed out

Are we sure they finished with DLCs? There are still bunch of inactive gates left. IMO they will make at least one more DLC which will add new sectors, maybe some new end game mechanic?

@Treybor

Would you be able to make versions of new sector that are empty, but claimable by other factions? That way factions will decide themselvs which factories/modules to build, that should keep the economy more balanced?

Intreresting, Keeping an eye on your new sectors since Egosoft is now finished with DLC, seeing what modders do with extra sectors here and there is a good thing. I noticed you have a few out now, watching closely as I am now intrigued to possibly add them into my next game start.
