300 Authentic AIs

This mod
- replaces the 300 AI companies in the game with real companies and their real logos and adds a few more, currently 310 total
- adds behaviour for some of those companies, so that the cars they design will more closely match their historical profile (the vast majority remains randomized in their behaviour)
- adds a bunch of new logos for player companies

This mod is compatible with all achievements, insofar as I have been able to test this.

The companies are based on
- similar companies to ones included in the original game regarding geography and active years
- famous companies that did not closely match any existing ones in their characteristics

Despite having the same number of total companies as the original, with this mod the game has more active companies at any given point in time from 1900 to 2025, largely due to "survivor bias", i.e. companies included in the game are highly likely to have a quite storied history. This means they must have been around for some time (excpt for a certain marque that is particularly famous for failing dramatically and rapidly). In the original game, there was a significant percentage of companies with lifespans of only a few years. This percentage is reduced in this mode.

The net result of this is to make the game a little harder (because there is more competition) and to slow down performance (except for long-duration games started very early, where there will be no noticeable effect).

Some particularly famous and rather specialized car manufacturers have some preferences set to produce certain types of car more than others. This should mean that a historical luxury company makes luxury cars rather than cheap microcars. This was not applied universally, however, as there are many examples of modern-day luxury marques which had quite a different profile in earlier decades. The vast majority will display random behaviour from game to game.

The new player logos are a mixed bunch of stuff, but with no overlap with the AI companies. This is intentional, as I want to avoid duplicate companies in the game, and the player company is intended to be fictional. There should be a logo in there for everybody's taste, but I am aware that there are people who want to play as a famous historical company, and you can't do that here (unless you acquire the company in the game).
