However the ice blockade was useless as I could just pass through it. I found myself over reliant on creepers and bats due to so much weak troops spammed. The hellhounds and demons just seemed like a nice touch.
I found it fascinating that the last mission was a time until victory as opposed to an all enemies are dead. It seemed to waste time as it only took me a minute or so to beat the final invasion. A timer for victory would have been nice to have as I just sped up my game to 90 speed and waited.
Some additional invasions especially in the last mission would help. You could have set up a series of invasions across the map-perhaps some with knights so the player can have skirmishes making it more fun.
I would say this is a 3.5/5 since whilst this is a cool concept. The overall difficulty didn't match expectations.
