Just a recreation of an old storage medium, many called it the Floppy Disk
I tried to remodel it as closely as i could to one of mine (that i holowed out so it could hold an SD Card below the metal clip, it was in bad shape anyway so no harm done) sadly there where no inward round corners in the standard blocks set so i had to make holes etc with corners ... sorry for that

Dimentions: 35(horizontally)x33,5(vertically)x3(thickness)

Basically just a small grid with some batteries a super small merge block (lower left corner on the bottom edge) with LCD Screens on the area where normally you would list the saved contents on, so that you can use it as a storage medium for your painstakingly split up and converted monospace images!

AI Guided variant with matching diskett drive (automated welding factory for rapid file sharing attempts) in the works and will be published on request (guided diskette already made (balistic and with warhead variant) but the drive needs further work ).

Additional hints for making monospace immages:
1. To convert larger Images into monospace pictures without loosing pixel count you can spread the image onto
multiple
LCD Screens.
To do that you will have to crop the immage to a multiple of 178x178 pixels (requires some semi capable image
edititing software, Paint.NET (the net part is reallly important) is more than capable; of course you can do both axis
indipendedly like 3x178 in axis y and 5x178 in axis x) try to go for what matches your pictures dimentions best and
add or remove parts of the picture (adding black bars can help in some situations more than removing things you
want to keep).
Then scale your image in your converter to 100%, set the target resolution to 178x178 and use the offset (if your
converter allows it, "Image to Monospace Converter" by Luchs works great for that) to cut out LCD Screen by
Screen, first one will be 0x0 second will be at 0x178, next line will start at 178x0 then 178x178 untill you got what
you want.

2. Keeping the color in check:
for Images with relatively few color gradients (cartoon drawings, less shaded anime pictures) it will be best to
manually turn down the amount of colors your picture has (displays will only allow a certain ammount of colors, so
best would be if you choose it on your own and not let the converter pick them for you (can result in unwanted
clutter) ) to aproximately 8 shades of red green and blue and set the color convert option to no/off.
This is sadly the lesser comonly way to do it but it will result in absolutely astonishing detail...
If your picture is taken in the real world or has a lot of shading and color gradients it is most of the time best to give
up and use one of the color convert options (aka dithering), it will replace shades of a color with a balanced amount
of base color dots, this will result in otherwise impossible color graditents but you don't look too closely or else you
might wanna puke.

3. Check if someone has experience and is mad enough to do it for you, this can be a drastic saving of nerves whilst
mostly getting a somewhat decent end result.

If you don't have an idea of what im talking about and are still reading this, congratulations you found yourself another great way of enjoying space engineers, you can import CUSTOM IMAGES onto LCD Screens that EVERYONE can see, you can even bring them onto servers (if hosts haven't limited LCDs too much), you can import pictures of CATS, something funny, hent... (we knwo what is meant with it, verry risky on servers, you will either be banned instantly or have befriended the serverhost and get banned by an admin, what results in internal conflict that takes down the server good job!), or you could slap whatever you like onto one of the (hopefully) soon to be comming Guided Floppy Disks and throw them at your mortal enemies ... ( the result will be halarious at least)

(the floppy with Megumin on it is actually my ARMED & guided prototype, the only visible difference from the outside are 8 hydrogen thrusters in the write protect notch (i could not figure out a better place to fit thrusters for up and downward thrust without making it thicker than 3 small blocks, all other thrusters etc (except the merge block and small connector on the top of the protective cover for authentic eject direction) are hidden from plain sight and are set up to even work with thruster damage turned on). It will be published if requested).

sadly nope, never seen him, this was out of own curiosidty and admiration of the style.
All i know about their opperation is mostly from videos of "the 8-Bit guy" etc.
Oh and if you mean the rewind trick for casettes, i even used them in an old car we had so i know how to use those, even though for rewinding i used my little finger to do so.

Did your Dad show you this, and a pencil? If so, +1 your Dad.
