Emerging Threat (SP/COOP)

A new faction of militants has appeared in the Sefrou-Ramal area. Lead a squad of Foxtrots (split into a CQB section and an MMG-armed support section) heading to Tazzarine to gather intel and seize the newly delivered weapons.

In this mission, you will face a paramilitary faction, alternately playing as a fire team equiped to infiltrate the village of Tazzarine and a fire support section with a .338 caliber SPMG (except COOP, of course, where players take on one of two roles for the entire duration of the mission).

The objectives will be:

• Obtaining 4 intel pieces (finding boards with intel on them).
  
• Securing the ammo dump from the hands of the fighters and holding it until reinforcements arrive using deployable shields and copious amounts of HE provided by secured weaponry.

In SP, these objectives will be interspersed with sections where the player must stop enemy reinforcements by use of the SPMG from a overwatch position.

In theory, if the player does not have acces to the Marksman DLC's SPMG in .338 it will be replaced by the SA77 in 7.62x51mm but I can't guarantee that the mission will be a fun experience then. Therefore, owning the Marksman DLC for this mission is suggested.

This mission has many variations due to the fact that the intel has 8 possible positions of which 4 will be used.
Both of the player's teams have 2 possible entry positions.
Equipment and the exact positions of enemy spawns are also randomized.

COOP mode is available for up to 6 players.

This mission takes between 30-40 minutes to complete.
