World War III: Aftermath [Mission]

描述
World War 3, I'm sure you've heard the concept already. What if I told you it already had almost happened before? The US had been thinking about attacking the USSR ever since the end of World War II, all because of communism, the form of government in Russia that led to the death of millions and millions of innocent people due to starvation, illness, ect.

Luckily, The USA made a better decision to keep it a cold war, as starting World War III would have more than likely ended our world.

In this mission, you can see a sneak peek of what may have happened if we declared full war on the USSR. The date is January 22nd, one day after a huge battle had taken place in the already demolished Stalingrad. The US thought it would be quite easier to invade a town that was already completely gone. After the US Army had easily taken out most of the enemy, some US soldiers weren't so lucky during evacuation... Remaining USSR soldiers have shot down a small fleet of planes evacuating the area, you don't have many supplies anymore, and you're quite weak from the crash.

Travel through Stalingrad and try your best to avoid any Russian patrols. YOU ONLY HAVE A FEW LIVES! Find a radio, and contact allies for an evacuation... Good luck soldier.

Edit: I just made a prequel mission! It's called "World War III: The Beginning" Link Below!!

I'm sure glad comrade RedWillow1917 is defending the proletariat from deep underground in his mother's basement, your contribution will be noted by the Kremlin, probably.

It's ok, I appreciate your civility to be honest.

I'm glad to hear that. If you're still curious, see Ludo Martens' "Another View of Stalin" for an excellent and detailed account of the trials and the evidence in support of the charges), and the purging of fascist collaborators in the Red Army. Also includes deaths in the gulag system (which is weirdly demonized despite being a fairly humane prison system for its time, definitely much more so than the Tsarist prison system it replaced).

Many millions died during World War II, but it's patently absurd to assign responsibility for those deaths to Stalin rather than Hitler. Doesn't stop many anti-communist "scholars" from doing so anyway to hit those ridiculously inflated body counts they love to cite for Stalin.

RedPagan1917 damn bro i cant even lie you got some valid points u win this one mb. this crappy mod i made isnt supposed to be political, i dont agree with any leader with the US or anything tbh. Id say the same thing about the US president in a mod, it doesn't really matter and it wasn't meant to actually be political cuz its just a game yk. ill fix the desc tho and change it to death from communism

Oh, I HAVE done my research. Attributing body counts to leaders is a funny thing, in that the standards seem to vary a lot based on how the speaker feels about the leader in question politically. Nobody seems to tally up the number of Americans who die preventable deaths due to lack of adequate nutrition, medical care, housing/shelter, etc. and attribute those as people each successive American president "killed," yet people who die of e.g. starvation during natural famines in socialist countries are generally counted among the "victims of communism."

"The US had been thinking about attacking the USSR ever since the end of World War II, all because Joseph Stalin, the old leader of Russia, murdered millions and millions of innocent people."
