The Last Bastion (Halo Wars 2)

描述
Fleet has lost contact with a heavily fortified oasis base, and has sent in a team of troopers to investigate. The situation is dire. Most of the base's outer defeneses have been overrun, and a handful of civilian workers have armed themselves in preperation for the worst. Intelligence suggests the bugs are targeting the base's main energy source: a power core at the center of the oasis. Your primary objective is to defend the power core at all cost. This base provides the Federation a vital foothold on the planet's surface, at least until we have the means to expand and carry out further operations. Fleet is willing to provide whatever resources necessary to defend it, especially if you can make contact with the outer defenses to further your chances of success. Good luck, and live forever, apes.

This scenario is inspired by the map of the same name used in Halo Wars 2's Terminus Firefight gamemode as part of the "Awakening the Nightmare" DLC. After each wave the number of enemies increases. Every 5 waves a new mutation will activate, at least up to wave 30. Capturing outposts and bases, as well as clearing waves, will reward you with supplies and war support. The more you expand, the better defenses you will unlock: such as machine gun bunkers and Wavebreaker cannons. Once you beat 100 waves, you win the game. This is my first scenario, so good luck, and I hope you have fun!

Map looks nice, but plays like shit sooooo laggy.

pretty sure any feedback you send (in game) goes to the devs. this is my first time hearing about it. admittedly i havent been playing in a while so thank you for letting me know. i'll look into it to see if its something i can fix in the editor, or if we just have to wait for the devs to fix it.

Love the work you've done with this map, some more heavy arachnid deployment would be awesome to provide further challenge in the later waves!
I do have to mention though with the latest update this has caused the stations to no longer allow troop deployments which is a bummer.
I did send feedback for the issue but as this is my first time writing feedback I'm unsure if that feedback goes directly to you or the game designers XD

finally, I clear this mission.

actually, after surround bug's Spawn point, they don't have any chance to defeat my army ^.^

all I have to do is repair and call reinforcements.

congrats! like i said ive been trying to find ways to make it more challenging but you cant really pick how many of a certain type of bug spawns you can only pick when to activate the mutations and even then ive noticed they dont spawn on the same waves the mutations activate. this mod is still a work in progress and im trying to get better at using the editor so i can fix these issues

Core defended ^^, YES. Like this mission but may be a bit too easy. Add more scoprions, more tankers or Flying bugs

Now, I am at wave 81. There is a difference between wave 60 and wave 80 ?
Same spawn, same bugs.
May be a solution, less plasma bugs and more tanker or scorpions.
I have on all side a line of infantery with turrets and in front of them elite unit like robot and commando (don't remember the name) and i dont change this composition from the wave 50.
I have lot of reinforcment point but i dont try pop more troops because of the lags and the mix in the wave too easy.

also i figured if the bugs spawned at random invasion points rather than all points once that would help with the lag too

in regards to lag i apologize. as i mentioned in the description the number of bugs will increase per wave, but i think its a mix of having so many bug units and a lot of mobile infantry units as well. I could try to reduce the number of bugs that spawn per wave but i fear it might take away some of the challenge, which im already struggling with because i feel like it isnt as difficult to hold off the bugs as i wanted. again this is my first scenario and im still new to using the editor so hopefully ill figure something once i have more experience. my goal is to one day make it closer to halo wars 2's firefight with boss waves and such. the mutation behavior is weird and even when they activate the ai seem to favor warriors/tigers/etc.
