Modify Difficulty Settings

This mod allows you to adjust the game difficulty settings of an existing game without needing to use a savegame editor.


Current latest Version: 1.2.1


Modifiable Settings
  • Disease Resistence
  • Hunger
  • Morale
  • Suit Durability
  • Meteor Shower Intensity
  • Radiation Resistence (DLC only)
  • Stress
  • Stress Reactions
  • Care Packages
  • Fast Workers Mode

Process:
1. Go to the pause menu and click the new button ("Change Difficulty Settings") to open the new menu
2. Make your modifications and close the window.
3. Save the game(!)
4. Load the save created in step 3(!).
5. Success - the settings are now active

(settings that do not require a reload: Care Packages & Fast Workers Mode)

Make sure you do NOT have the mod "Debug Console" enabled as it breaks the game's logging and makes the log useless for fixing bugs!

Any meteor showers already in progress won't be affected

I tried the 5-step process to activate "Clear Skies" but the meteor still hits and destroys building. When I reload the game and open the settings again, it shows "Clear Skies" is already chosen, yet it doesn't seem to work?

I assume you are on the previous-branch

ive updated the mod to fix the previous-branch-version
I have also readded the fast-workers entry on the main version

The new menu option is not showing up. Tried debug and sandbox, still not there.

Can't toggle fast workers mode since release of bionic booster pack, setting just doesn't appear
