Are you new to this game?... No?
Are you tired of being informed of when a Hunter attacks a player, who's already screaming into their mic as though they got attacked in real life?
Then this is the mod for you.

The goal of this mod is to minimize the absurd amount of gameplay hints given by the Game Instructor. With this mod, you will only be notified for the following events:
• When someone startles a Witch - and who startled her.
• When a horde is alerted - via car alarms and Crescendo Events.
• When an item is nearby; with an "item" being all slot 3 to slot 5 pickup-ables.
• • (This one is currently experimental, and is handled with my own system instead of the existing "pick up item" lessons that the game already shows you; feel free to share feedback about how it feels, or any bugs you happen to come across regarding this feature.)

NOTE: YOU MUST EXECUTE THE FOLLOWING COMMAND:
gameinstructor_reload_lessons
EVERY TIME YOUR ADDONS FINISH LOADING, OTHERWISE THIS MOD WILL NOT INITIALIZE.

I may add more events upon request, and the mod is always liable to suddenly become a list full of ideas that you think are bad.

I need you to be more specific by what you mean regarding "every single instruction", because basically everything else that you said described what the mod does

I guess my comment got deleted. Anyways, regardless of whether or not I reload the lessons, it instead keeps every single instruction except doesn't show an icon and uses the item's console id name instead. I don't have any hud mods other than the compact hud, but that's for team health/items only.

Sorry for the late response, but yes, the mod does not remove custom hints done via the `instructor_server_hint_create` event

If you'd like, I can make a second version which does?

This is actually good. Although I think that the icons that tell you to get an item are actually useful because not everyone will notice an item just sitting in the corner of a room.
