Hope you're having a great day and thank you as always for making sure this wallpaper works!
As an idea, it might be possible to emulate this behavior by using the built-in Screensaver feature of WallpaperEngine. I have not tried it myself, but it might be worth trying to see if it fits your use case. WallpaperEngine will warn you about screen burn-in for certain monitor types, so please be mindful of that when trying it out as well.
Installing the fix will require you to unsubscribe, fully close Wallpaper Engine to clear the file properly, then re-launching Wallpaper Engine and resubscribe.
Please let me know if it fixed the issue.
I understand it's been quite a while since there was activity here, so you may very well not wish to work on this anymore, which is totally understandable! Just thought it should be brought to your attention, assuming the error isn't on my end somehow.
