Our Kickstarter campaign: Heroes of the Pacific : Battle of Guadalcanal is launched!

The Devil Pigs left the Normandy countryside to fly to the endless expanse of the Pacific. A new theater of operations opens in the Heroes of WW2 range. Gone are the bocage, the European forests, the rainy landing beaches, the streets of Stalingrad, ... Make way for palm trees, white sand and clear waters. Sea, Sun and War!

As usual, we immersed ourselves in history books, adventure novels and Hollywood movies. We determined that Operation Watchtower, the battle for the Solomon Islands, was the perfect start for this new front. The forces are still roughly balanced, the Japanese and Americans are on the offensive, and the battlefield is typical of what the Allies will encounter throughout the Battle of the Pacific.

To replay this period of history, we are proud to present Heroes of the Pacific! The core box will allow you to relive the battles that took place during Operation Watchtower, mainly on the island of Guadalcanal. Two new armies will appear. The Imperial Japanese (both Army & Navy) and the USMC.

This new chapter will be an opportunity to explore new types of terrain, such as the jungle, but will also introduce new rules, such as Doctrine Cards. We also redesigned the recruitment system to offer you as many different regiments as possible (9 in the core box) each with its own specialization.

Les Devil Pigs ont quitté la campagne normande pour s'envoler vers les étendues infinies du Pacifique. Un nouveau théâtre d'opérations s'ouvre dans la gamme Heroes of WW2. Exit le bocage, les forêts européennes, les plages de débarquement pluvieuses, les rues de Stalingrad, ... Place aux palmiers, au sable blanc et aux eaux limpides. Mer, soleil et guerre !

Comme d'habitude, nous nous sommes plongés dans des livres d'histoire, des romans d'aventure et des films hollywoodiens. Nous avons estimé que l'opération Watchtower, la bataille pour les îles Salomon, était le point de départ idéal pour ce nouveau front. Les forces en présence sont encore à peu près équilibrées, les Japonais et les Américains sont à l'offensive et le champ de bataille est typique de ce que les Alliés rencontreront tout au long de la bataille du Pacifique.

Pour revivre cette période de l'histoire, nous sommes fiers de vous présenter Heroes of the Pacific ! La boîte de base vous permettra de revivre les batailles qui se sont déroulées pendant l'opération Watchtower, principalement sur l'île de Guadalcanal. Deux nouvelles armées feront leur apparition. L'armée impériale japonaise (armée de terre et marine) et l'USMC.

Ce nouveau chapitre sera l'occasion d'explorer de nouveaux types de terrains, comme la jungle, mais aussi d'introduire de nouvelles règles, comme les cartes Doctrine. Nous avons également repensé le système de recrutement pour vous offrir un maximum de régiments différents (9 dans la boîte de base), chacun avec sa propre spécialisation.
