New Atlantis Project redux is my 3rd (ish) map.

I have been building (or starting them anyway) many cities. I just can’t find one that I really love. Until now. This map I found; ‘New Atlantis’ by JukedBox was pretty close to perfect. It had plenty of challenges but still a lot of buildable space. Plus, it is really beautiful & super interesting.

New Atlantis Project (redux) is my re-imagining of the original map by: JukedBox. The map he made is amazing & it is also in the workshop.

I wasn't trying to plagiarize his work, but to change it around a bit for my own needs. I am envisioning a dense city on the upper level, suburbs & shops on the middle, and industrial/farmland/commercial on the lower levels.

No offense to JukedBox, but his roads & train lines were a bit outdated. I wanted to make them feel more realistic & smoother. On this type of map, it is impossible (or at least really hard) to get the railroad lines to work without having some steeper than normal grades & tight turns.
Normal trains run at a max grade of < 2%, This map is a bit higher at 4.5%.

I used the stock Vibrant color correction (LUT) that is included in the base game.
