Aether Engines

An only-slightly-rushed mod with a steampunk aesthetic that takes inspiration from old steam locomotives. I may revisit this mod later, because I'm getting very burnt-out, and it doesn't quite work the way I want it to.

They're a very heavy (but not that slow, surprisingly) and tanky faction with a quirky steam engine system, which I guess I'll explain here since I'm too lazy to do so in the in-game descriptions.

Burners: These are the core block of the system, you need exactly one per steam engine. Different fuel types have different stats and effects. "Fire" the burner (by default, they're supposed to be bound to space, but the game HELPFULLY resets it to LMB for you when you're not looking) to use up some fuel and generate energy; after a certain amount of time, the burner will be completely used up and will have to regenerate.
Boilers: These come in three parts; one attaches to the burner, one goes on the end, and one gets stacked in between as many times as you want.
Smokestacks: These attach to the burner and direct the smoke (or other effects.) Make sure you include the cone-shaped end piece, it's important.
Steam Pipes: These connect to the boiler end pieces, and transport steam pressure to any components that need it (piston assemblies plus any weapon that says "steam consumption can be reduced with a larger boiler.")

This faction's weapons are a little all over the place, but they all have at least some utility. I made the in-game descriptions a while ago when I wasn't yet burnt out, so they'll be way better than anything I could summarize here.
