It would be cool if the sheriff would say some of these lines while in the scenarios:

civilian units under attack:
Science ship:
"Our detectives are under fire and requesting backup!
An on site research team is being ambushed by hostile cells!"
Construction ship:
"Our construction workers are being harassed by hostile assailants!
On site units are reporting shots fired in the construction yard, requesting backup!"

Landing ground armies:

"Attention all units, SWAT has been deployed to an uncooperative planet, an active assault is in progress.
All units, ground invasion is underway and SWAT units are neutralizing hostile resistance.
Commencing active assault on hostile planet, SWAT in active combat."

Declaring War:
"We shall show them that nobody messes with the sheriff's department, initiating system wide crackdown on uncompliant empire.
The department declared the active neutralization and liberation of hostile territory, lock and load."

The main image makes me think it's going to have a southern accent. Also, while the 'meta commentary' is cute, it's not really descriptive or useful.
