Fiddlers Ferry power station

描述
Based on a real location near Warrington and Widnes in Merseyside UK
The history. An application to build Fiddlers Ferry Power Station was proposed in 1962. It was built by the Cleveland Bridge Company between 1964 and 1971, and came into full operation in 1973. There are eight cooling towers arranged in two groups of four located to the north and south of the main building.

The Fiddler's Ferry power station and cooling towers were decommissioned in 2020 in line with Government policy to phase out coal-fired facilities by 2020.

The railway line is a fright only line and in part runs along what is left of the old Sankey canal, the first man made canal in the Uk.

I am working on a new layout now , not based on a real place. but I am struggling with consantration due to Parkinson's. I will try and finish it asap. or up load as it is then update it at some point

do you plan on making more layouts? because this is really good, also because there is a big lack of british stuff that is actually good and that isn't made by someone who knows nothing about british stuff and british life in general
