Greyhound Class Torpedo Destroyer

"The Greyhound Class Destroyer was designed as a multi-role capital ship killer with its array of 5 Assault cannon turrets, 6 Gatling turrets, and 16 torpedos. This mixed armament allows it to fill both escort and anti capital ship roles within a fleet. While early models would use completely unguided torpedos later versions would receive improved guidance to allow them to hit smaller and more mobile targets. Being fairly light armored the Greyhound was not built for prolonged brawling but instead hit and run with its 16 deadly torpedos that could cripple or destroy ships much larger than itself. Its mixed armament also allowed it to serve as an escort for other ships providing extra point defense against smaller threats. Being fairly cheap Greyhounds were deployed all across the SRG's borders to patrol and defend. When the 2nd SDF-SRG war broke out Greyhounds saw many early successful battles against SDF Cruisers like the sentinel class which were prime targets for their torpedos."
