Editor Challenge 1: Bug Tower

Congrats on winning the competition! I heard about it, but have been away for a while. I watched some of the gameplay on Youtube, and mission looks amazing. I didn't watch the entire play through (wanted to keep most of the mission fresh), and just subscribed so that I can play it when I get a chance. I'm really looking forward to it. Thanks for keeping the community alive with more amazing content. All the best, and keep up the great work!

Hi Ilias, thankyou for going to the effort to clean out the installation and making the video. I have tested it again and I can't seem to replicate the issue. May I suggest removing the map, checking the files and then subscribing to it again? Or even removing the scenario from the workshop directory.

Hi McGondy! I tried to click "check files" for STTC, sub and unsubscribe to you map. Then launched twice the map. Then my comp crashed)

Hi Ilan, thank you for trying my map out. I have tried to reproduce this non Archie bug using the latest version of the map but it seems to work ok. I click on the Federation banner just in front of the second door and it opened. If I click where the second marker is, Juan stops immediately.

Would you be able to send me a short clip of this issue occuring and I can investigate further?

Hello! I watch Milo's stream too and its bring me to this) I wanted to play this by mi own, but, unfortunately, there is a blocking bug (not Archy)). The second dore (where "A move command..." tip placed nearby) does not opened, and the tip does not disappeared even if Juan moved strait to the dore. I tryed to avoid this, but I failed. Please, fix this, you're doing great)

I'm glad you enjoyed the map. I'll be updating 8tbwith additional characters and features. The triggers are still being built so it may be a few weeks until the next update.

the level where you get the two troopers was where the door problem was the adding of the troopers and the guns running out of ammo is a nice touch kept getting killed by plasma your scenario is very already gave it a like

Hi Wesley, thanks for letting me know about your experience with the scenario.

I'm not sure what you mean by door problem fixed was after scientists. I'm hoping you're referring to doors opening which is great to hear. I'll do some further testing around the scientists to see if I pick up any issues.

I think the stop button not working is a game engine thing, I recommend using attack-move and manually backing up units. There are some sections where I move command some units as part of cinematics but that's not in combat.

I agree the Marauder is a little clunky. I will be revamping the controls. The limited control was due to a constraint in the challenge. Cortez is a rookie pilot so she doesn't have the best control but she will improve with practice in the next update. That said, I will start with the limited controls as a nod to the design constraint.

I'll also be adding some new friends to meet and help you on the way and also improve the endgame.
