I do not think that this is a problem I should address by further restricting how the item can be stored. While I do get your point on being able to fit all the game's medical items in a briefcase; it is still massively less efficient method of storage when compared to other methods, such as what GranolaBean suggested.
For comparison a storage container filled with first aid kits has the max item capacity of 96; same as the storage container itself (Item stackability taken into account for). In the end first aid kit offers a possibility for more variable item slots, but at the cost of stackability.
If a player wants to be a walking medical supply cabinet by carrying most of the game's medical items with him at all times. I think they should be allowed to. However it's extremely inconvenient when considering the utilization rate between some items (e.g bandages vs antirad).
that said i found a problem, aid kits fit inside small places like toolbelts/briefcases, which is a ridiculous amount of storage.
it turns out you can fit 2 of literally everything on the barotrauma wiki's page of medical items, inside a single briefcase full of aid kits.
so uh, personally, i would recommend making aid kits not fit inside toolbelts and briefcases, like how planter boxes dont fit inside but you can still carry them in your toolbar, so its not exploitable for massive storage.
Makes sense for a first aid kit to contain a variety of different items in small volume compared to just two things en masse.
As for anyone not happy with the fact that the kit now only holds 8 items in total instead of the previous 16. I'm gonna make a separate mod for a variant with more capacity.
