Matt Cappotelli

Matt Cappotelli earned a WWE contract by winning the third season of Tough Enough alongside John Hennigan (John Morrison).

Cappotelli began working in the WWE developmental system, reporting to OVW. He captured the OVW Heavyweight Championship in November 2005, but relinquished the title after being diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor a few months later.

After successful surgery on the tumor, Cappotelli was unable to resume his in-ring career, but he did serve as a trainer in OVW.

Cappotelli passed away after in 2018, one year after being diagnosed with brain cancer.
