---What is Subfactions?---

Subfactions are a mod series with the focus on giving the base factions of Reassembly a fresh coat of paint, and an alternate take on them to give people a whole other way to try their favourites. The changes will push the pros and cons of the default faction in a new direction, via changing their statistics for weapons, thrusters, and even in some cases removing or adding new blocks!


---What is the Blight?---
The Blight has been a question few have the true answer for, though it is concluded based on several long, slender infested ships that they were a biproduct of the Coalition's Bio-weapons, thought destroyed. In reality the blight grew from these experiments and infested a lost ship where they took root in the asteroids. Now this galactic scale infestation is branching out, and no quarentine will stop it

---How do they play?---
The Blight are constantly gaining R from their Auxin cores that produce growth hormones, are fuelled by photosynthesis growths for energy, and carry the plant tropes of jagged thorns and laser spikes. They add to this with acid launchers, a small one for basic combat and a large one that splashes shots out! Topped up with very shortly lived drones in the form of spores & your Blight ships will unload painful bullet hells on their foes! They may not be notably durable but they regrow almost entirely and their cores are deceptivley tough! Need even more R for mass production? No problem, the Blight's Spawn locations are littered with 25 different types of plant specimens!
