描述
Eliminates the milky way swirl in the background. Makes it easier to distinguish meaningful map elements, especially nebula.

Note: you may need to start a new game for the effect to work. Sometimes it works on saves from before, sometimes not. *shrug*

It works! After replacing the Galaxy.xml, still couldn't get the mod to work. Thanks, this makes it much easier to distinguish some of the borders.

If you've downloaded the mod, it is stored locally in your Steam folders (Google where) - you can find it and edit as you like.

Just tried with the 1.1.8.1 beta, still no result, again with multiple restarts and generating new games just to double check that too. I'm still getting the milky way swirl.
I did, however, find the GraphicsSettings_Galaxy XML file, and setting all the alpha values to 0 got rid of the swirl, but it also renders all the other nebulae invisible. I'm assuming this is the file that the mod changes? If so, what parameters are for the swirl and which ones are for the smaller clouds?

The mod is working fine for me with the latest public beta 1.1.8.1.

Tried this out with 1.1.6.7, attempted multiple restarts, but the mod doesn't seem to be working.

Hi mate. Okay it worked suddenly after the third or fourth restart (which I did to experiment with other settings). Way better now. Thx again.

It was working for me with the latest public beta. Sometimes it requires a restart after adding the mod to the loading list.

I can try myself again, but not until September.
