Bottlenose

A tier 1, campaign-start transport submarine for 3-6 players with a top mounted ballast, a semi-detached bridge and a more vertical design than many subs. Made to have character for an early sub rather than to be an optimal submarine for late game play. The design has intentional problems, but hopefully nothing which cannot be played around. In particular many parts of the submarine, such as the bridge, crew quarters/medbay and brig are death
traps, the vertical design and bilge makes it harder to fully flood the sub.

Features:
- Quick-fill ballast hatch for quick descents.
- Bridge lockdown, for captains who just do not trust their crew.
- Unconventional layout, with a bridge on the bottom, a ballast on top, and a vertical central area.
- Bilge to offset the inevitable flooding from the unconventional design.
- Way too much logic circuitry than any sub should have to accommodate the awkward ballast shape.
- No gun mounted on the fore hardpoint stock and a wide blindspot because of this. This is a transport, not a gunboat, and it can descend quickly to mitigate this issue.
- Inaccessible crawlspace behind the brig which may need welding from the outside if damaged. Don't get too attached to anyone left in the brig during an attack.
- Containers almost all filled via tags, so the sub should play nice with item mods etc.
- Bots which mostly work. To my knowledge the only problem is with the crawl space junction boxes.

Known Issues:
- Bots will run weirdly around a couple of areas (namely the stairs between gunnery and the central mess), but should get through just fine
- The back of the lockdown door to the bridge will render over the top of players. It was to fit the captain's bed next to it properly. Fixing without other visual issues would require redesigning the entire bridge. This is a fairly minor visual issue.
- Junction Box walkway above the central mess is kind of janky. Crawling through to whichever box you need to repair should work fine though.
