This expansion is designed for level 4 characters. To travel to this expansion, visit Captain Verra in the port of Matras, then select Cursed Chess Set as your travel destination.

While you were adventuring in the country of Staunton, someone destroyed the King's two landmark Watch Towers. Witnesses swear it was you. You were there and did see them fall but know you are innocent. Now, against your better judgement, you've returned to Staunton to clear your name.

The King has put a large bounty on your head so you face grave danger. The noose awaits you if you can't prove your innocence by catching the guilty party. You remember seeing two rat-like figures scuttle away when the towers vanished. Can you find them, learn what happened and emerge unscathed? You will need all your wits about you and some help from friends.
