I may not be the best modeling or remodeling expert in relative terms, but I put a lot of effort into it and would be very happy if it got a relatively good rating.


SS-Fallschirmjäger-Bataillon 500
The battalion was set up in Chlum u Vlašimi in occupied Bohemia on September 6, 1943 by order of the SS Headquarters. It was a "probationary unit" of the Waffen-SS and initially consisted largely of SS members of the SS prison camp and police in Danzig-Matzkau who had committed crimes.

The first commander was the SS-Sturmbannfuhrer Herbert Gilhofer. From November 1943, jump training took place at the Luftwaffe Parachute School III in Mataruška Banja near Kraljevo (Serbia) and in Pápa (Hungary). At the same time, the unit was deployed to suppress armed resistance to the German occupation.
