Despite its small size, the ship is heavily armed, with its main and only weapon being a 456mm railgun capable of firing rounds close to Mach 5. The extreme armor penetrating power of the Centaur's gun makes the craft a danger even to larger vessels as a single round in the right place can easily cripple a cruiser or even battleship. While heavily armed, the Centaur is effectively a glass cannon with its main belt armor comprised of only a single layer of alloy and metal. For this reason, the Centaur prefers to engage at long range, often staying at the rear of the fleet and taking deadly potshots at enemy crafts. The Centaur class was first sighted on ████/██/██ on Neter, during a AF offensive into the Steel Strider's north-western territories. During the operation, the Centaur was able to cripple multiple SS ships including a Kitakami class, as while as Grey Talon reinforcing airships and even score direct hits on SS aircraft. The craft was last seen ████/██/██ during the siege of ██████ city where it was used to shell coastal fortifications and was credited with neutralizing the city's air defense systems.
