[K4G] Vanilla Weapon Retextures

If you want an Ideology style, you are more than welcome to create your own instead of lecturing me and everyone else about the proper way to design mods. Better yet, why don't you go create something original, from scratch? Instead of just piggybacking off of my work. I promise you, we will all be just fine without your advice.

@Salep I wasn't gonna argue either, but some guy showed up and started causing trouble, so here we are.


1. Not everyone has money for DLCs. It's not exactly cheap to buy a $35 game plus a $20 DLC, not to mention the other $70 in DLC + taxes. Also a lot of people might choose not to because they'd rather spend their money on other things, or maybe they own the DLC already but don't want to use it in their save because let's face it, Ideology can be pretty irritating, especially without additional mods to fix its many issues.

2. And there's mods that add catgirls and other ♥♥♥♥. That's not even relevant.

3. Good for you. Sounds like you didn't need to come here and start trouble.

4. You are insulting people. You've been incredibly rude to me and everyone else in this chat, not to mention you implied my customer is an idiot because he wanted something different than you. This is not an act. I do not agree with you and your opinion is not objectively correct just because you said it.

I wasn't going to argue, but here we are.
1- Are you telling me a customer has money to spend on a mod but not on DLC?
2- There are about five bug free mods that let you apply styles from all available styles to any item.
3- I already picked the mono sword textures and added them to my personal style mod. Other weapon textures are just more or less the same as, or worse than, vanilla textures.
4- I am not insulting anybody. It is okay. I know you have to act like you don't agree with me. Yes, yes, the customer is always right. We live in a magical world where everybody has the same IQ.

@Salep Not everyone uses Ideology. Some people would rather enjoy the game without an additional $20 fee for some new textures. It is not an inherently smarter decision to make an ideology style instead of a retexture. In my experience, there are far more people that prefer the latter. If you want a style so bad, you are more than welcome to make your own instead of patronizing me and insulting my customers.

@Salep - Giving the customer what they pay for rather than what some random douchebag on the internet wants for free is a far more important service.

Pointing the customer in the right direction when they are not smarth enough is also an important service.

oh thank you i had to move it to lowest priority because i had vanilla textures expanded, thx man very good retexture

Also if you have any mods that modify the texture file path of the items then it won’t work either.
