Strange, it's working fine over here right now. There's usually a small stutter when first enabled as it loads all the images, but no crashes.
How much RAM do you have? CS doesn't need much, but with all the images this mod adds you might be running out if you are on an old laptop that only has 1-2 GB.
Beyond that I'd suggest:
1) If you are using the longer animations DLL mod make sure that you are on the gateofhorn beta branch and have the mods enabled in the order listed above.
2) Verify integrity of Cultist Simulator. (Steam Library > R.Click > Properties > Installed Files > Verify Integrity of game files).
3) Unsubscribe + Resubscribe to this mod to make sure you have the correct files.
4) Update your graphics card drivers.
5) Add an exclusion for cultist simulator in your antivirus.
Hopefully that fixes your issue, but if not could you tell me what the current legacies offered without the mod turned on are?

I also am proud to announce the release of a new DLL mod that finally lengthens the card animation time, so I can be a bit more creative instead of just twinkling and twitching!
Note: For anyone already subscribed to the mod you will want to subscribe to the new animation lengthening DLL mod (and GHIRBI, if you don't already have it) or the new animations will look like they're in warp speed.
No timeline promises since I usually make these to unwind when brain-fried from coding. But I do intend to add more cards as I finish them.
