I did look in to 1st CID, but unfortunately they are just a "normal" infantry division. the 21st (british) tank brigade supported them, (This is with 4th ID UK in the mod) but i used the brits instead of the canadians since i added 5th Canadian armored from italy already. There was also the greek mountain brigade that fought witht hem, but eugen already used them with 2nd NZ div.

Awesome! It's a big ask (I assume, i dont know how much effort modding takes for this game), but could you look into making a stand-alone 'van doos' battlegroup? Technically they would fall under a very large operational command "first infantry division", but it would absolutely make my day to be able to just play the royal 22nd infantry. If you want to know anything that makes them unique or stand out or something, let me know, i know lots about them.
