Player Count: 2 - 16 (Multiplayer)

Mission: Race/Obstacle Course

Objective: One player is the bridge builder who must use the weapons up on top of the structure to help create a bridge around the map for the other players to jump across. How convoluted the bridge builder wants to make the obstacle course is up to them. If you fall, you must start over.

It's time to go back, back down memory lane... or should I say "road". That's right... Yellow Brick Road is back. Thanks to the Modding community for being a huge help, this once popular modded custom game has been reborn. The prequel to stairway to heaven custom game and jump/parkour maps.

This is a remake/rebuild of the old school The Yellow Brick Road for Halo MCC from Halo 2 Xbox Original with as much accuracy as possible but with some improvements.

Setup: You need add the custom gametype "Yellow Brick Road" BIN file into the Halo 2 game variant folder. The game variant will be under slayer. Party leader needs to be an elite to have the road maker traits while the other players need to be spartans. So there is an honor rule that needs to be enforced to keep it fun and challenging.

Known Issues/Future Improvements
● Elite/Road Maker starts lagging/staggered flying movement after throwing a grenade when weaponless. I noticed this previously in 1.0 version but wasn't sure why it was happening. But now I figured out what was causing it. Looks like this could be a legacy bug even OG YBR had too back in the day. So recommend don't enable spawning with grenades and pick up a weapon first and you should be good. If it does happen, just unalive yourself and the effect will go away after respawn.

Please make this mod possible on the Gemini map. There are 2 massive structures with collision outside that map that would be perfect for placing these objects around them. It'll be like the first H2 parkour map.

Known issue

@Volcanis You can play it like it is. Since fortnite and gta just copied the idea from Halo 3's jump maps that are inspired off the OG, Yellow brick road.

@Volcanis kinda yes and no. It plays the same concept, one person makes the path and everyone must follow it to get the the top. Thought this is the OG before fortnite and GTA. From the old school Halo 2 days https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9qJnqOk4d1o
