Note!!!

these are NOT sweps or any usable weapon for playermodels. these are made as props and as ragdolls. Please, don't ask me to make them as sweps. ask someone else who's expert on creating stuff like that. thanks :]

this is an abandoned project has been around for some time. I thought of sharing it rather scrapping and deleting it out of waste.

this is supposed to be a very long task of fixing valve's "Ridiculous" models that had an absolute issues to begin with. the old models, are bad. the new models, are good. however, both of them contain the same topology structure, because Valve is being, Valve. I don't think I want to spend another day looking at a model that has a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ topology structure and bad weight paint. I have spent hours on one model, just to realize how quickly demotivated I got after this exhaustion.

bother not, there are already good creators out there who dedicated a portion of their time to bring the models into the workshop.

that being said, let's get into the hardcore description!

Project
this project aimed to fix assets Valve™'s game assets to make it usable to Garry's mod, but also make Counter-Strike Source mountable without the need to mount Counter-Strike Global Offensive.

Content
  • CT Viewmodels as Ragdolls (2015 and 2019 assets)
  • T Viewmodels as Ragdolls (2015 and 2019 assets)
  • Weapons as Props (2015 and 2019 assets)
  • Additional Arms (2019 assets)
  • Fingerposing
  • Skins
  • Bodygroups
  • Proper Weight Paint for the Viewmodels Flexibility

get the fookin spawnicons for the custom spawnlist I have made. it will save the trouble for your time :]
Custom CSGO Spawnlist Icons[www.dropbox.com]
extract the files into your "garrysmod" folder, not the addons folder.

yeah. it's sad that they replaced csgo with cs2. they could have made csgo accessible through Beta or release cs2 separately. I'll miss csgo.

Hey uh cs2 has replace csgo and it seem like all the csgo content is broken so thank for porting all the gun

Still, you've done more that I could've imagine. Really. Not just characters, military or infected, but limb dismemberment bodygroups as well. Yeah, I am sure it was a pain port it to gmod... BUT YOU DID IT! AND NOT JUST WITH PROTOTYPE 2. Whenever I'll use' em, you can bet your ass that I will credit you. BECAUSE YOU LITERALLY DESERVE IT! :steamhappy:

I have found that in PROTOTYPE 2 topology structure become something unusual. I took a very closer look at the models and I found that alex mercer from p1 have fair amount of structure vertices to create the illusion of shape than most of p2's models. heller to be precise, have less verts on the fingers. I am aching. I won't bother with that at all. I'll leave it as it is.

imagine being chased by some gaming companies just to fix something they would have done centuries. total madness I tell you mate.

to be honest I feel extraordinary desperate to do something about this, but all of the sudden things can change rapidly without giving one a second chance. I know no one will put this in a good use, and that's alright. after all, it was a good try to do something Valve would have done ages ago before releasing CSGO.

Great work! Finally CSGO content that it should've been like this within the official game. Instead we got buggy content. And this is also stand alone, also thanks for PROTOTYPE 2 PACK as well.
