描述
A mod made for those who prefer to play rome 2 without having to deal with 10 trillion garrison units every damn battle.

good points:

makes the ai more agressive and expansionist.

makes the game more tactical forcing you to manage your defenses very carefully so as not to expose yourself.

bad points:

makes so that a single unit can take an entire city making annoying to deal with ai spamming generals and fleets.

makes it easy to cheese the ai by using the mothod above.

update 1 - the game would crash on the ai turn sometimes, turns out that the ai making client states and setrapies was the issue, so i used dresden sack and liberate mod as a base for a fix, now nobody can make client states and setrapies and the ai almost always razes any settlement they capture. (seems to fix the crashes, i am 60 turns in with no crashes.)

My crazy idea was just to have a Garrison in the Capital of the Province and the Garrison army would have an increase attack range to protect the smaller towns and cities. That to me would make more sense than having garrisons in every town and city maybe?

are you using mods that change buildings or mods like dei?

any mod that changes the buildings like cities and barracks will enable garrisons again.

try putting at the top of you mod loading order.

The mod doesn't work, turn ends and the city's troops are not eliminated.
Is there something to do?

Would be great if major captial cities (like rome) could still have a garrison.

This would work great with limited AI and player Armies.

I'm like you I don't like fighting battle after battle after battle.

I really hate is you destroy a couple of AI stack armies and in a couple few turns they are already fielding another full stack.
