Space Transportation System

Orbit
- Press "R" to turn on "RCS"
- Press "T" to turn on "SAS"
- Press "Z" to full throttle
- Press "Space" to launch

- At about 300m/s use "Q" or "E" to roll so that you are "upside down"
- Use "S" to pitch down to around 45* on NAV Ball
- As solid rocket boosters run out of fuel press "X" and "Space" to cut throttle and separate solid rocket boosters

- Press "M" to open the map
- Activate "Prograde"
- At Apoapsis press "Z" to full throttle
- Use "Left Shift" and "Left Control" to throttle up and throttle down to stay around Apoapsis
- When Periapsis is above 70,000m you have achieved orbit
- Press "X" to cut throttle or use "Left Control" to throttle down

- Press "M" to close map
- Use "Q" or "E" to roll so that you are "right side up"
- Now is your chance to utilize the payload bay to launch satellites, probes, or space station parts

De-orbit
- Press "M" to open map
- Active "Retrograde"
- At Apoapsis or Periapsis use "Left Shift" to throttle up until Periapsis is below 70,000m
- Press "X" to cut throttle or use "Left Control" to throttle down
- Activate “Prograde”
- Press "M" to close map

- Use "Q" or "E" to roll so that you are "right side up"
- Press "Space" to separate external fuel tank
- Use "[" or "]" to switch to orbiter
- Activate "Prograde"

- Press "Space" to stage through cosmetic "Thud" rocket
- Final stage is a drogue chute
- Nose cone will overheat during re-entry

- At about 10,000m activate "Stability Assist"
- The space shuttle orbiter will almost land itself
- Press "G" to activate landing gear
- Press "Space" to activate drogue chute on touchdown

This is not accurate to real life but what I have found works best in Kerbal Space Program
