What is this?

The Binding of Isaac: Reflashed is an (in-progress) aesthetic overhaul of The Binding of Isaac: Repentance aiming to completely replace the game's aesthetic with that of the 2011 original. A number of artists and programmers have collaborated together in order to painstakingly recreate the style of the original game.

Are you using vector graphics for this mod?

This mod is an in-place texture and animation replacement; while we would like to use vector art rather than raster art, this would require extensive reverse engineering and programming to accomplish. We've instead opted to upscale much of the original texture files and to edit the animation files to account for their larger resolutions.

Gameplay changes?

This mod as it is is a purely aesthetic; at the moment, no sorts of gameplay changes are present. A mod that has gameplay changes more in line with the original's may come in the future, if there is demand. If you desire a true vanilla experience within Rebirth, we'd recommend the Rebirth of the Lamb mod.
